Dr. Ziad Bahaa El-Din

Founding Partner
Dr. Ziad Bahaa-Eldin is the former Deputy Prime Minister of Economic Development and Minister of International Cooperation of Egypt and a distinguished lawyer with over 30 years of expertise in financial law, investment and company laws, governance, compliance, and economic legislation. He is a former member of parliament, and former Chairman of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) and of the Financial Regulation Authority (FRA). He is currently the Founding Partner at Thebes Consultancy and the Managing Partner of Bahaa-Eldin Law Office (in Cooperation With BonelliErede). In addition, he serves as chairman or board member of various prominent financial institutions, companies as well as educational and philanthropic organizations. He is also a weekly contributor to Al-Masry Al-Youm newspaper.
